New Power Down Sequence for FLEX-5000C

We've discovered that somewhere along the update path, Microsoft has changed the way Windows XP does it's shutdown resulting in a new shutdown procedure for the FLEX-5000C.

Power the radio and PC up normally from the front panel.

To Power Down:

1. Stop and close PowerSDR
2. Shut Down windows using the START/Shutdown from the normal XP taskbar.
3. When the monitor displays "Shutting Down" then press the front panel switch. This will power the radio down. The PC will complete it's shutdown and then everything will be quiet.
