SmartSDR Version 4.2 introduced a new "Band-Plan" feature that displays the suggested band plan for each of the three IARU Regions.
Once enabled, the feature will display the recommended bandplan on each panadapter, regardless of which receive antenna is selected.
Enable the Bandplan display in the Panadapter "Pull-Out Menu:"
- Click on the little arrow in the upper left-hand corner of the Panadapter.
- Click on the "DISPLAY" tab
- Click on the IARU Pull-down menu and select your IARU Region (Region 2 is selected in this example)
(NOTE: An Orange asterisk next to the ON/OFF button indicates that the IARU Region you have chosen is not your normal region.)
- Enable the Bandplan display by clicking the ON/OFF button. It will turn BLUE and say "ON" when enabled
(You can also enable the feature by right-clicking on the panadapter screen and clicking on "Band Plan")
- Close the menu by clicking the "DISPLAY" tab again,
or by clicking the arrow in the upper left-hand corner of the panadapter to collapse the panadapter menu.
The band plan will now appear at the top of each panadapter window and will scroll along with the panadapter as you tune through the band.
